GO LIAM!!!! I was about to reply almost the exact same thing when I saw that rediculous post, but you have done it for me. The French are the biggest pacifists in the world. They are the coward of the world. Germany took the whole country of France in 2 weeks!!! THE US came in and gave them their country back!!! If it was right to do it for them why is it not right to liberate the Iraqi's from Saddam and his family tree???? Who cares if we lose them as an ally? They need us a hell of a lot more than we need them. I bet they come crying if terrorists attack them again. As for losing soldiers fish we have lost nothing compared to the Iraqi troops. Its war lives are lost. If it were not for war your country would not exist either. So you protesting war is the same as protesting against your life and the all that it involves. You are so ungrateful just like the French.

i se this turning out alot liek Vietnam, sure teh american army is more powerful and could brute force teh battle and just win by shear amount of soliders and weaponry, but they could have done so in nam to, but it was getting to the point where more lives were being lost then was worth it, and just one last thing, please don't call down other countries in the world becaus eyour government has taught you to hate them, France has always been excellent friends with America, THAT'S why america came to there aid, France would come to Areica's aid but frankly they don't need it, and it's a war they do not beleive in, if america didn't believe in teh evil of Hitler they wouldn't have come to save France, over one year the french have become evil? how could century long allies become evil over a disagreement of morals?

You are losing huge amounts of respect around the world. You are losing your position in the global mindset as a fair arbitrer of peace. Iraq I think is losing more. We can't please everyone. You are too young to remember Gulf War I, but not everyone agreed with that. If we really cared about what France, Russia, and China thought we wouldn't have gone. The only middle eastern people that are "losing faith" are the ones who hate us already. Kuwait is with us, the Turks are with us......I still see no point.

There are people in every single fucking country rioting in the streets, burning effigies of your president and spray-painting your restaurant franchises, etc. You think you'd get a fucking clue.

Palestinians and other Islamic radicals are burning flags etc. Other protestors here in the US are infringing on the rights of the citizens around them by blocking traffic and preventing people from working, picking up their children from daycare, etc. They can protest without being assholes. These people have no jobs and just like to cause trouble and to get their faces on TV.

Go watch some news that's not North American. By "countries around the world" I mean most of the major European ones as well. You've pretty much gotten yourselves un-invited from most of them, including France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, etc. etc. etc. etc. That's okay, maybe your tourists can visit Somalia or something.

People around the world are uniting against your country. SURELY that means something! You are but one country...

Any other kind of protest wouldn't get any attention. The point of a protest is for people who have no voice (in this "democratic" country) to be heard. Standing on a street corner with a sign gets protestors nothing but ignored. These actions need to be taken by people to get their point across. Certainly these people could have chosen better methods of protest, but laying in the middle of a busy street is a damned good way to show how passionate they are about their cause.

Those protesters need to get a life

Maybe they can take the ones you're stealing from Iraqi civilians.
