Friends...

Highschool is a really hard time, trying to discover who you are, who your true friends are, what your beliefs are etc. etc.
Everyones judging you on what you look like or who you hang out with. Its really hard.
You just have to perservere.....because its only 4 years of your life, and I promise it will get better, just stay true to yourself, and everything will work out

well i started my winter sport. I don't know how that whole thing works though. Is everyone on the team like automatically friends or something? Its cool because everyone on the team is awesome. Plus, now i have something to do.

My other little group of friends is very good. I have like a best friend now.

Girls... hmmm... i don't know. I feel really inclined to make sure that i get my first kiss before i turn 15... i have about 2 months to do it... i don't know if i can make that. I don't know who to ask out. Like there are some girls that i meet and right away i want to ask them out, but i always think it would seem weird. And then there are some people that i don't know too well, but i think they like me and i like them, but i don't know if it would be right to ask them out right away.

So the whole girls thing, everything's going good. I've realized that it might be good to have sports practice over christmas break so that i don't have such a long time away from other kids.

I love being on teams, u get to know so many ppl that you might not normally consider being friends with.

aw, talking about relationships is making me so sad. I really like this guy and I just recently found out that he has a girlfriend...

Oh, and about guys going up to girls. Definitely do it, for me, i hate not knowing how a guys is feeling. I would rathera guy just tell me whether he was interested or not then to have to try and guess by how he reacts. It may seem hard, but if a guy came up to me telling me he liked me or something like that, I would for sure consider him. Like Marissa said, what do you have to lose?

My friend Amanda, the one who snatched the guy I liked who I almost had a chance with, is now not talking to me. I want to ram my fist into her face, but I know that won't solve anything. And, I don't know if I'm ready to talk to her, because ... I still dislike her greatly, and yet I like other aspects at the same time. Any suggestions on how to fix all this?

On a lighter note, I like this guy at work. I want to ask him out, but I'm not too good at this stuff, so I'm wondering if I should. I don't think I could do it, honestly. Should I just send him some signals or something? I'm seriously no good at this, help me!

There is a guy (colin) that I have liked for about 3 and a half months. All this time, he has had a girlfriend, which wasn't great, but okay. Me and my best friend are in Video class with him and his best friend (josh). I have always liked him, and my best friend has always like his best friend, who also has a girlfriend.

Then, on friday, after much convincing by my best friend, colin finally broke up with his girlfriend. In the mean time, my best friend has started liking Colin, which isn;t the coolest, because I don't have the highest self-esteem as it is, and she has no trouble what so ever with guys, in fact she has several that like her. My fear is that he will decide to go out with someone new, and that won't be me. I'll get over it if it's someone I don't know, but if it's her, that could be quite destructive to my already low self-worth.

She asked me for his email address today, so she could MSN him. She has Josh's phone number, and I have Colin's email. I basically told her I'd rather not she had it (because it's the one thing i have over her), and she told me, fine, she'd ask him tommorow. That kind of upset me, because I really do have trouble talking to guys, and quite obviously, she'd be better than me at it, and ruin any chances I did have with him.

I finally agreed to give it to her. She just asked me if I would hate her if I had it. I sighed, and said of course not and gave it to her. I'm not the kind of person that will hold it against her, that would be pointless. But the thing is, she cared not how I FELT, but how my emotions would affect her. I feel bad, but I think she was being really selfish. She can get any guy she wants. Why does she need THIS one? And why doesn't she care about my emotions at all? And now I feel like crying over something incredibly stupid and useless.

Well, I am only 14. But I am a guy. And I know that i always enjoy knowing that a girl likes me. If you have talked to him in deep conversations, then just tell him. if you haven't talked to him and you think that you are attractive just go up to him and tell him. I know it may not sound great, but if you don't know him and aren't attractive, you can't just go up to him. he won't like it. Call me a shallow jerk, but its true. You would be much better off just going up and talking to him. oh yeah, if you are good friends with him, then just telling him may not be the best idea. Just make some small moves and see how he reacts. like saying something nice about him. Like... 'I never noticed it, but you have really pretty eyes' or something simple similar to that.

I might sound like a hypocrite, but it is because that i KNOW guys like little things like that.

Hmmm, I disagree with you.
My philosphy is WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?!
I mean really, the worst that could happen is that the feeling isn't mutual. And even if it isn't, I am sure the guy at work will be totally flattered, and may want to strike a friendship anyways.
Some people regret not telling a good friend how they feel...so I say:

GO FOR IT!!!!

Definetly go for it even if its a good friend. At least tell them how you feel, and if the feelings not mutual then there isnt a reason why you guys cant go back to being friends. And if he cant do that for whatever reason, then he wasnt that good of a friend in the first place...

okay guys, as i said before the guy i really like has a girlfriend.. He doesnt go to my school so i only see him once or twice a week due to rehearsals for a play, do you suggest i just give up? Or should i still go for him and hope he breaks up with his gf?.. i really really like him, but it seems so shallow trying to flirt with someone who has a girlfriend..HEELLLPP
