Taht's not true, lots of artist do benefit concerts, especially for Africa. Look at U2.

the live aid shows for african debt relief were mostly done in europe in north america (well live aid was bob geldoff but still)

Live Aid was done in Philly(USA) and LONDON(EUROPE) I was at the Philly SHow.(front row) A few people I befriended were at the London show. I will never forget that show. It was so long. Started about 7AM and eneded about midnight. Memories. THat show was 18 years ago this July 13th.
