Detroit, eh? I grew up in the 'burbs. Whenever we went on field trips to Detroit we were always told to never look anyone straight in the eye, don't point, and definitely don't laugh if you do point.
I saw a show a couple of weeks ago at St. Andrews Hall and I got to see a security person violently push a homeless guy to the ground because he was asking people in the line for change. The security guy started screaming at the homeless guy and he was a lot scarier than some guy asking for change. Oh well.
