Gail, that's awesome! He lives in New Jersey, right? My friend wants to get a Les Paul and go have it signed by him before he dies. If I had money, I'd do it. That thing'd be worth SO much in the future.

I met him a fe years ago. Slash(My favorite guitar player) had a show at this club in NYC (tramps) called Blue's Ball. there were so many differetn types of music that night. Les Paul showed up and played a few tunes. I got to meet him after the show. I will try to find the photo I got. He plays here(NYC) on Monday nights at this place on 50th street. Just like Elvin Jones plays here every few months.
P.S. I got a copy of RS top 100 Guitarist of Rock> I can't believe Slash isn't on the list. That is not right and people like Angus Young and Les Paul in high numbers while people like Jack WHite in top 20. I mean come on Les Paul invented a guitar that more then half the people on the list would own. I say that list was so weird. I mean there are more then 100 guitiar players out there, but to forget someone who has critical and fan acclaim is something wrong. That 's okay I know Slash is great.
