I hate to be a jerk Anny, but if you're actually American, not that you have to be, with your location being from the US, you could clearly be an immigrant or something, but your english really isn't very good. I'm going to assume 1 of 3 things.

1) you're a bot

2) you're kind of weird for making your first post on an Our Lady Peace message board community in the Somewhere to Unwind section, without even mentioning being a fan of Our Lady Peace (umm.... bot!)

or

3) you're insanely rich, because by looking at your profile, your website is apparently www.google.com and why you'd be wasting your time on the internet at an OLP fansite really confuses me. If I were you, I'd be spending my billions of dollars on English lessons since I'm living in a country where it is the primary language!

4) Your mother's probably a tracer.


Also, I ask that this thread be left open so we can discuss the insane amount of bot traffic this site's been experiencing lately and I'm curious to know if people who frequent other message boards are seeing similar things.

matt or josh (i forget which) did you not mention that with the new site design, there'd be something to stop bot registering?

cause it seems like there's been more bots since the redesign. every new registered user is a bot nowadays.

And not a hot bot either. Like the ones from Austin Powers.

I did. I had hoped by adding double visual verify codes to the registration that it would slow them down. There are some other modifications I can do to slow them down. It's just a matter of sitting down and doing them.

Unfortunatley the other boards I frequent have worse things to worry about than bots (i.e. convicted theives )
