the messiah will come and save us all and all the born-again christians will rejoice. then a meteor will hit the earth like during the big bang and everyone will die. (contrary to popular opinion)

Yes, it is.

There are many possible ways for it to happen...

a) In 5-10billion years, the Sun will become a red giant, expanding and engulfing the first three planets
b) The universe will begin contracting, resulting in the destruction (and possible recreation of everything)
c) The earth will spontaniously combust
