So, we all know my taste in music is probably one of the worst on this board .. and I'm okay with that but I'd like everyone to list a band they think I should check out .. any band you think I might like, tell me about them, recommend a cd .. I want to broaden my music tastes and dig myself out of the 'you listen to that shit?' category. Thanks!

Matt Good cd's aren't allowed in my house
I have the newest Finger Eleven cd and a few songs downloaded from their other albums .. I have a couple AAF songs from their first album I like .. I have no idea what APC sounds like so I can give them a try (songs to try?) and I have the first album by Staind but not the latest one. I dunno about Tool ..
