When I was in like 7th grade a group of my friends and I dressed up as the Sailor Scouts (not all, just the first five). I was Sailor Jupiter because she rocks! (which seems to be the consensus so far) I even named my dog Lita...

When I still used to watch it, Mars ended up being my favorite after awhile, even though I didn't like her shoes (red pumps? c'mon now. so impractical).

Anime show featuring pubescent girls that change into sailor suits and use their magical powers to fight evil (such as those from "The Negaverse"). They're all named after planets, Sailor Moon's the leader.

Quality TV.

I still cant believe they brought Sailor Moon to US television. The amount of stuff they had to cut out of it to bring it down to a PG level is insane.

It's been a while since I saw any of the episodes or anything but weren't they all princesses of their respective planets or something? And yes they were considered too risque for American children, they can see as much violence as they want but anything sexual is too much.

yeah they were all princesses wich kinda confused me as to why they'd want sailor moon to be the center since she dosent even rule a planet

yeah and our moon is a small ass moon at that. Jupiter would have underlings running moons from her planet that were bigger then Sailor Moon's..............

oh yeah and i heard that it wasn't just a little sex, apparently it was full out animated porn, who the hell even came up with the idea to change it into an american children's cartoon?
