the CN Tower and the United Way workers. they turned me and my friend away from the doors at the last minute...i swear, we were looking up through the glass dome and you could see the tower there...but the guy who had organised our event had somehow blipped out our names on the computer. we were never sent an email with the waivers, and were the only people there who didn't have any. so the two of us, out of 800+ people, didn't run the tower. but whatever, it's over now.

seriously, the capital of ontario is not kingston or hamilton. it is toronto. my friend tried to tell me that people think toronto is the capital, because it's the most populated, but they're wrong....she then went on to tell me that she learned in school it wasn't toronto.
i could have punched her.

i distinctly remember having someone insist to me that she was taught (in higher education) that Toronto is the capital of Canada. I think it may have been Bethany
