Live 8 dvd (Toronto)

I just got the Toronto add-on for the Live 8 dvd, which features Our Lady Peace, or as I should say according to the backcover 'Our Lady Place'

It only has Innocent on it though, so I haven't bothered to watch it yet

Josh, they aren't on it. According to Elco it is Our Lady Place..

that is funny. Usually see Our Lady Of Peace. never anything else so that is a good one. WOnder if they will evenutally change the package...

They're not on the regular 4-disc set, but there are separate dvd's available of the shows in Toronto, Berlin, Paris and another city.

Ahh, I read the tracklist from the 4-disc set, and then I couldn't find any info on the separate DVD's so I assumed they were just selling the same discs as those.

I read the back of the Toronto DVD in HMV and I didn't spot the typo. I must be going blind

Yeah, I'm probably gonna get the Canadian DVD as well as the US/UK one. The canadian one is about 20 bucks American right?

Do the procedes from these DVDs go to charity or to line someone's pockets?

I was in Costco today and caught Pual McCartney and Bono doing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on a bid screen high definition TV

I still can't believe they totally screwed up the feed of that for us at the Philly Live 8.

I'm pretty sure the proceeds go to charity. I remember Bob Geldof announcing that everyone in the UK should buy one to make lots of money - and I don't think he 'd get away with doing that if the money was just going straight into his pocket.

If you can call EMI a charity, all proceeds go to charity

They made a deal with the Live 8 trust fund though, so I don't believe they're making a huge profit on it.

I with you...I was at work last night and we had a few copies in stock and I checked each of them and they all said "Peace" not "Place"...maybe they already fixed it, or perhaps there are different versions in different countries?

Best Buy had the Toronto one for $20. I was tempted to get it. I didn't have enough money though. i was buying the U2 dvd that day.. I haven't seen any other cities. Only Toronto and 4 pack DVD

I looked in Virgin today and I can confirm that the PAL version of the Toronto DVD does indeed say "Our Lady Place" on the back
