oh, and there's also the fact that I wasn't aware they existed until I was a teenager. That was strange and still bugs me today

aww. i have one half sister i've never met and only found out about accidentally when my parents were arguing one time when i was in 7th grade.. so technically i'd have 6 brothers and sisters i suppose but since i've never met her so i've never really counted her as one.

do you keep in touch with her at all?

I found out about my 4 half siblings at a funeral for our grandmother. I introduced myself to someone and asked who she was. She didn't know me either, and she said she was one of my dad's daughters. Umm... I almost fell on the floor. It was really awkward. And then she introduced her 3 brothers and sisters who are also my dad's kids.

4am.

Favorite OLP album?
Clumsy.

4.

hardcore or softcore?
Softcore.

and finally, is there any other info that you wish to reveal about yourself?
(stolen from my intro on another site): My name is Jeremy and I'm from the Detroit, Michigan area. I've been a OLP fan for as long as I can remember, and they're one of the few bands i can actually listen to for sustained periods of time anymore.

I'm 24. I own a guitar but don't play it (yet). I've played soccer my whole life. I had to drop out of college due to lack of funds, but have been able to find jobs in my field (politics) so I'm gaining lots of experience. I play a lot of poker. And I'm in love with Lisa Hannigan.

definitely the vancouver soundcheck on september 6. that was... totally awesome, for lack of a better vocabulary. meeting really awesome fans, and letting an olp concert-virgin be at the front of the line instead of myself made me feel like i did a good deed, haha. being front row, right in front of steve, hearing everyone sing songs around me, laughing that i unintentionally tricked jason into coming with me, and that i accidentally sent jenny to the back of the line when i was saving her spot for hours. things like that. :D

How many OLP shows have you been to?
a grand total of 2. :GASP:

hardcore or softcore?
totally hardcore. you have no idea.

Any CMers that you know in real life or have met at a concert? post their usernames
jenny (Hope), jason (deniedjunkie), kaegan, soozy

and finally, is there any other info that you wish to reveal about yourself?
ummm... hopefully next time there's a meetup, i won't be insanely tired and semi-bitchy?

Hi

Image

(btw this picture is a year old. I hate taking pictures, I'm so bad at it)

What's your real name (first name, or whatever you want to give)?

Amanda

Male or female?

Female

How old are you?

17.

Where are you from?

Toronto, ON.

What do you do for a living?

Nothing  ..(gr. 12 still)

what are some of your hobbies?

Reading, listening to music, writing, going to concerts, watching movies, hanging out with friends..

Name one song that describes you or your life?

Waited.

Favorite musicians/bands?

OLP! and also smile empty soul; maybe killradio, fall out boy, and green day, too.

Which OLP song means the most to you?

Hmm. There are a few songs that are very sentimental to me (Somewhere Out There, Picture...) but I think I'd have to go with Out Of Here, Clumsy, Superman's Dead, or Naveed.

Favorite OLP album?

Well, I can't answer this one really because I love songs from all of them, but Clumsy is always in my CD player.. I always go to listen to something else, but it always seems to end up back in my CD player
so I guess it must be Clumsy!

favorite OLP moment? (like a dream, story, concert experience, meeting the band, etc...)

Well, the Massey Hall concert was my second olp concert and I loved it. I was happy for like a week after the concert. It was just amazing.. atleast, for me. I'm usually so shy so it was nice to be able to sing at the top of my lungs (I lost my voice). I'll never forget it :)

How many OLP shows have you been to?

Two. I can't wait for the next one.

hardcore or softcore?

Hardcore! (?)

Any CMers that you know in real life or have met at a concert? post their usernames

umm... I think maybe I saw some CMers at Massey Hall but I'm not sure.

and finally, is there any other info that you wish to reveal about yourself?

Let's see... I'm a twin... my sister is also an OLP lover, but not nearly as much as I am. I'm very shy... very, extremely shy. I've been coming to CM for almost 2 years (and the hub) but I've never really posted because I always seem to talk myself out of it... :uh: When olp starts touring canada, I'm going to try to go to as many concerts as possible. And hopefully one day I'll get to meet some of you, because none of my friends are big olp fans and find it annoying that I always talk about them

um, I'm not sure. I just saw a lot of people and thought they looked familiar... but maybe some of you saw me. I was the short blonde one in the bright pink sweatshirt with my twin sister...

Hi! Welcome :)
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
