Official CMer Bio Thread

RARGH! Evil Jen! Oh and by the way, I am carrying your boyfriend in my womb.
Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever

What's your real name (first name, or whatever you want to give)?
Matt
Male or female?
Male
How old are you?
19
Where are you from?
Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. It's nothing special. In fact, I'd advise just avoiding it altogether. I go to school in Halifax, though. I'm quite enjoying that..
What do you do for a living?
Student. And a poor and apathetic one at that.
what are some of your hobbies?
Umm I like to read (I'm an english major), write, and rock out
Name one song that describe you or your life?
Waiting For The Sun - Chantal Kreviazuk
Favorite musicians/bands?
Besides the obvious, Matthew Good, Placebo, Death Cab, Tegan and Sara, Brand New, the Pumpkins
Which OLP song means the most to you?
Made to Heal
Favorite OLP album?
It's a toss up between SM or Happiness..
favorite OLP moment? (like a dream, story, concert experience, meeting the band, etc...)
Umm I don't know
I had a dream once that Raine came over for dinner and then played songs for my family and I.. in a weird overly happy family setting (kind of like the juicyfruit commercials) That was kind of bizarre.
How many OLP shows have you been to?
3 OLP shows and then I've seen Raine on his own 3 times as well.
hardcore or softcore?
HARDCORE.
Any CMers that you know in real life or have met at a concert? post their usernames
Completely unintentionally, I met Kathy at Edgefest and then Rich and Shelley as well. That's pretty much it, though..
and finally, is there any other info that you wish to reveal about yourself?
I like cake.
And procrastinating.
In fact, procrastinating is probably what I do best.
If there were a procrastinating olympics, I'd clean up.
I'm also indecisive, sarcastic, and terrified of commitment.
But that's not really important

What's your real name (first name, or whatever you want to give)?
Laura
Male or female?
Female
How old are you?
18 on Monday
Where are you from?
Originally Vancouver, but I currently reside in Slurrey
What do you do for a living?
Blockbuster Employee and a starving artist.
what are some of your hobbies?
Play guitar, bass, and various other instruments. I read a lot, everything from Classics to Comics. I write songs, short stories, screenplays and I'm currently attempting an already failed novel. I play videogames and I like watching movies. I live a pretty dorky existence.
Name one song that describe you or your life?
Home-Three Days Grace and Wasted Years-Cold
Favorite musicians/bands?
Our Lady Peace, Death Cab for Cutie, Phil Keaggy, Bif Naked.
Which OLP song means the most to you?
Its between Theif and 4 A.M. because I can relate to both.
Favorite OLP album?
Clumsy
favorite OLP moment? (like a dream, story, concert experience, meeting the band, etc...)
Acoustic sound check concert. Duncan laughed at my request for Waited and also Raine gave Duncan a guitar pick to personally give to me. When I was 8, my brother taught me to play Magic cards and we'd play for hours while listening to Naveed. Ever since then, OLP has been my favourite band.
How many OLP shows have you been to?
One, it was the sound check. Past times I didn't go were because I was either too young (very protective mother) or because I didn't have the money.
hardcore or softcore?
Between.
Any CMers that you know in real life or have met at a concert? post their usernames
Kaegan
and finally, is there any other info that you wish to reveal about yourself?
Nope, not particularly. *Shrugs* I'm a geek?

Digging up the past,
To cross that line,
To bury it, one last time.

Don't forget Hope.
Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever

Imma old newbie.
By old, I mean I've been here, lurking but have never thought to post until this second. lol.

What's your real name (first name, or whatever you want to give)?
My real first name is Alex but I prefer Austin.
Male or female?
Female
How old are you?
19
Where are you from?
Vernon, British Columbia
What do you do for a living?
I'm a student soon to be moving into the job world. Right now I work at the Boys and Girls Club. I'm going for a job in the film industry somewhere, ulimately want to become an editor.
what are some of your hobbies?
Filmmaking... if you can call that a hobby more like an obsession, Scriptwriting, listening to music, going to shows, hiking, sports etc.
Name one song that describe you or your life?
What's My Age Again? by Blink-182-
Favorite musicians/bands?
OLP is first and always will be. Other than that, The Rubber Maids (awesome indie band from here), Sum41, Billy Talent, Open, Parachute!, Counting Heartbeats, Jets Overhead, Grim Hymn and the Horrors, The Rebel Spell, The Ramones, The Misfits, The Back Alley Brats, Brat Attack, Mr. Plow, Rise Against, Rise in the Fall, Weezer, The Pixies, The Posies, Jellyfish, and a wide variety of other bands. lol.
Which OLP song means the most to you?
Starseed. I first heard it when I was seven years old and I've been in love with OLP's music ever since.
Favorite OLP album?
I'd like to say Naveed, I like every song off the album a lot, but I like Happiness is Not a Fish You Can Catch just as much even though it doesn't have the same quality of me liking every song the same.
favorite OLP moment? (like a dream, story, concert experience, meeting the band, etc...)
On Sunday when Raine came off the stage I was right there. The concert was quite epic and I enjoyed the experience of being on the floor for once instead of 5 miles back or behind the stage so the speakers are blocking everything.
How many OLP shows have you been to?
4 if you include their DVD release.
hardcore or softcore?
Hardcore
Any CMers that you know in real life or have met at a concert? post their usernames
I'm not sure.
and finally, is there any other info that you wish to reveal about yourself?
meh... that's good for now.
