Actually nice. The spam e-mail that was waiting for me sucked, but otherwise I took a vacation from work, the CM, the hub, music, and the internet. It was a good break.
I booked our trip through Orbitz. Heather and I unknowingly rented someones time share. It was pretty sweet. Huge tub, nice bed, full kitchen, indoor and outdoor pools on site, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, the works. We even got discount tickets to local attractions. Only drawback with the sales pitch we had to listen to. Those guys were assholes. Otherwise, it was great.

There was a tennis court across the street from my hotel in London. Lots of sexy men played tennis there alllllllll day long.

TENTH PLANET Completes Work On Debut Album - July 21, 2008
Toronto, Canada's TENTH PLANET has completed work on its first full-length album, entitled "Everything Is Never Over".
The making of the album was an international affair, with sessions taking place in both Toronto (Orange Lounge Studios and The Pocket Studios) and West Cork, Ireland (Kingdom Recording Studio). "Everything Is Never Over" was co-produced by multi-platinum-selling guitarist and founding member of OUR LADY PEACE Mike Turner. The album was mixed by Mike "Dullboy" Langford (EVANS BLUE) at The Pocket Studios, and mastering was done by Peter Letros of Wreckhouse Mastering (FINGER ELEVEN, NELLY FURTADO). Artwork was created by Marco Holtappel of Stargazer Design (THE TEA PARTY, JEFF MARTIN).
"Everything Is Never Over" track listing:
01. See Yourself
02. Lose Your Mind
03. Dissolution Meditation
04. Man In Full
05. Even If You Are Still Alive
06. Carbery
07. Little Nation
08. Weighed Down
09. Into Empire
10. Drafty
11. Line In The Sand

TENTH PLANET has toured Europe twice (September 2006 and 2007) and was selected by BLACK SABBATH guitarist and founding member Tony Iommi as one of the finalists of his international Planet Rock search band competition.
The band has scheduled a CD-release show on Friday, August 8 at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern.

Good luck with your papers.
Doesn't your library have some sort of inter-Library exchange system where you can get any book from any NY library in thematter fo a few days?
I seem to remember my College having that in Ohio where if I needed a book or something from Ohio State I just needed to submit a form and the book fairy delivered it to my local library 2-3 days later.

ewww new facebook is nasty.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Yeah...not really. The books I need are anthologies of literary criticism, which aren't even available at most of the bookstores around here. Thanks <3beautiful liar wrote:I hate when that happens. Do you have any secondhand bookstores in the area you could try?

Yes, it does, but I am not in Fredonia right now and therefore do not have access to the Fredonia library system's Interlibrary Loan (we call it ILLiad). I tried getting the actual essays from the books through ILLiad, because those requests come through electronically and I can access them anywhere, but that was a no-go.Kicker774 wrote:Doesn't your library have some sort of inter-Library exchange system where you can get any book from any NY library in thematter fo a few days?

I'm going to the local SUNY campus tomorrow and trying to find one or two of the three libraries they have to see if they have copies I can copy from.
