Not to rain on anybody's parade but alot can happen between now and then. I hope not but it could..

I also suggest to all of you not to expect too much from this show. Only cause it is maybe the 2nd or 3rd night of each cd and alot of kinks will still be int eh show. I have seen people get so wound up over stupid things like that.. I am just happy to see the band in their hometown again. I have not seen OLP in Toronto since 2000. I did see them play London in 2002. I am also happy to see these cd's dusted off and brought b ack to the live set. Esp since Spiritual Machines is my all time fave

What's going to happen?
I mean people are excited about this tour, I know personally that these two nights are gonna be really special, I don't care if there are kinks to work out or if the show isn't perfect. Honestly, I could care less if there were 1000 mistakes, the fact that i'm still gonna be apart of this is just beyond cool. OLP's been a band i've looked up to and admired for a long time now, and the fact they're doing this for the fans is awesome.

I too am pretty sure it will be awesome...they are professionals and can pull those kinks off without a hitch. They made the right choice (because it is obviously for the die hard fans) and no one can fault them for that!

Yea, I REALLY don't think there will be any kinks or mistakes, but like i said ..even if there were..who cares? they can pull it off.

Agreed, I often don't notice the mistakes anyways, its just usually the experience as a whole that keeps me happy. I'll leave the score keeping up to those other people who don't want to have a good time.

This just goes to show what kind of fans OLP has, nobody cares if they have mess ups or kinks. I’d be pretty happy hearing that from my fans if I was a member from ANY band…Their playing Clumsy and SM for the first time in their entireties. I can’t put any negativity towards that. The only kind of disappointment I can get from this is if the shows are cancelled.

This will be my first time in Toronto as well, so I’m pretty excited to see the CN tower and hockey HOF. Were making a weekend out of it….Going up that Thurs. afternoon and leaving Sunday. I still have to get suggestions from some of you as where to eat and what all else there is to do there

Anything can happen. Nothing in life is guranteed. I am not talking about mistakes..

I have had tickets for OLP shows that have been cancelled or postphoned from anything like family emergency to illness. That is all I am saying.There was even an instance when the show was cancelled a few hours before showtime due to Raine collapsing in soundcheck. I feel alot of you are building up for a big let down. Nothing wrong with being excited, but the shows are still 2 months off, longer if going to later show.

And you are dead wrong if you think people do not notice. I have seen people complain that Raine sang something wrong. He is criticized alot for that..

Be excited but also be aware that anything can happen between now and then. Not just with OLP but with us as well..

I am not being negative I am being realistic..

I understand that things can go wrong, it's life and things do happen, but were all excited...there are people going to these shows that have never seen OLP live and to read that something may happen is a huge letdown and it takes away from the excitement. I think everyone is feeling like a kid in a candy shop and were all happy and excited beyond words to hear these albums that we grew up with( for me anyway). Clumsy is the first OLP album I heard when I was 11, so seeing clumsy live is special to me. I've seen OLP a decent amount of times, but this is going to be the ultimate expierience for me and I know everyone else feels like i do, whether they are new fans or old. I think we should all just look foward to these shows and if something happens and the shows get cancelled, then we deal with that when or IF that even happens. And as far as Raine being criticized for the way he sings , I see it all the time, and I hear people complaining about his voice, but like we all said in our posts before, let those people keep score on the stupidity and have a bad time, as for us, were going to enjoy this.

I guess for me being much older I am not counting down every second to these shows. Which alot of you are doing. Nothing wrong with being excited but the countdowns to me is a bit much..

I know this is huge for alot of people on here cause alot of you never got to see the band perform live before Gravity, HIPT or even Burn Burn..

I am looking forward to these shows, but I am not consumed with it 24/7..

I don't really think were consumed with it 24/7, I just think that it's something alot of us never expected. Newer fans or fans that never got to see OLP live, are getting introduced to OLP live in the best way, and older fans like myself get to hear the albums we grew up with and respect.
As for the countdown, It's a huge event for some of us, so why not countdown? OLP fans are the best fans, we are die hard, and we each have our own way of showing it.

I, myself, have no idea how many days/months/minutes it will be until the show...in fact, I have to keep checking what dates it is when someone asks me. I am just enjoying everyones excitement, I for sure am not consumed 24/7...my life is WAY too busy for that!

I do know for sure when Raine sings something off key or a little different people will have their opinions (and they are not always kind.) So I agree but I know for sure it doesn't bother me, I guess unless he butchers my favorite song or something, but I have yet to be disappointed.

And Gail, I doubt I'm not a whole lot younger than you!

The only two times OLP disappointed me are when they played that horrible acoustic version of Superman's Dead. And then when Raine didn't sing AF.

ANother tibit on the SM night. Daylight Saving Times goes into effect that Sat Night/Sun morning.
