Is this the first time that a female musician has joined the band?
Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
Technically, New Years Eve featured a female violinist.

Yep. That's the only live performance that comes to mind.

Does anyone know who she is or what she plays? I tried to google her and got nothing and her twitter profile didn't really have anything to go on.faninor wrote:5th musician alert!

It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. I'm pretty sure she plays keyboards... at least that's what I gather from the pictures she has posted to Twitter.ClumsyGirl618 wrote:Does anyone know who she is or what she plays? From Steve's twitter:
Played an old OLP song yesterday that we've never played since I've been in the band. And that's 10 years now. Any guesses?
Obviously something from Naveed or Happiness
which ones have keyboards?

My guess is Potato Girl.
Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
Nope, they played it on the 2005/2006 tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xqyh8tdLkY
<nam_kablam> I'll be naked holding a ":O" sign while pumping their door

Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
Is it safe?
Happiness & the Fish
^^My guesses..to the best of my knowledge I don't think they've been played since before Steve joined.

I'm guessing Happiness and the Fish. Maybe I'll find out on Thursday! Hmm, maybe I should charge up my equipment!

Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
Yes Matt, probably a good idea
Sounds like the experience of the Clumsy/SM tour really reinvigorated the guys about preforming some older material. I feel this tour will likely be one of the most dynamic ones they've done in a long long time, hopefully we can get some great recordings of rarely performed songs.

Really exciting to hear about them dusting off some rare Naveed/Happiness songs. I am aching to hear Stealing Babies, Blister, Happiness & the Fish, Potato Girl, Annie, Is it Safe, Birdman, Neon Crossing and Under Zenith.

^agree with all these, also would be cool to hear the "rock" version of Julia again.Heavy Alibi wrote:Really exciting to hear about them dusting off some rare Naveed/Happiness songs. Re: OLP Urban Grind Tour (2012)
I was hoping someone could help me out here.
I ordered tickets to the Ottawa show this Friday. Because it was short notice, they are doing "Will Call"- I think that's what it's called. It's when you can only pick up the tickets an hour before show at the box office with the Credit Card and ID of the buyer. Only problem is, I was working when tickets went on sale, and there was no way I was missing the show so my dad bought the tickets. And now he's out of town.
I called ticketmaster, and they said I'd have to get a photocopy of the ID and Credit Card with a letter, but that's not possible. All I got was an note.. do you think that'll due? My mom thinks I'll be fine, but I'm a little worried.
Thanks in advance.
