What a great, great idea. You're so smart. You should come up with the concepts and locations for all of olp's videos.*clumsyrific* wrote:What would be really awesome is if the made the video in Toronto and let the fans be in on it too.

Well, I just figured that Toronto's like a central location. It's not that far from New York, it's not that far from Detroit, it's not that far from London, Ottawa, etc. It's a good place fan wise.

Yeah, and something about 3 of the 4 guys in the band being from Toronto would have something to do with it too.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Now that is cheesy in a very bad way.clumsyfish wrote:I think it's gonna be a cheesy video, not in a negative way but just with kids and an underlying message of hope .. like the Life video.

I think Mike is from Maine. He told Steph and I about how he used to go surfing in Maine and how beautiful the place is.

Again that comes down to a matter of opinion .. I liked the Life video and the message it haddefying_gravity wrote:Now that is cheesy in a very bad way.clumsyfish wrote:I think it's gonna be a cheesy video, not in a negative way but just with kids and an underlying message of hope .. like the Life video.

SOT is my favorite video after Thief. I love just simplistic videos. I love just watching them play........simple......great. I really don't like all the themed "girl wandering around empty town" stuff............I just like simple videos. In Repair was cool too, of course. OMA isn't bad.........but only cause its funny to see Raine fly:)
Life would have been cool without those little stories thrown in.........although it is awfully uplifting:)

Fair enough. I'm not saying that they should do a hardcore rock video (which are all crap anyway). In my opinion a video should be something more than the band performing the song. Why don't they try something different (like they did for In Repair). But I suppose that wouldn't appeal to the TRL crowd, which according to all this shit I keep getting from the OMA is all that matters. Call me crazy...clumsyfish wrote:Again that comes down to a matter of opinion .. I hated the In Repair video but that's just me .. the concept they're talking about sounds interesting so all we can do is wait and see ..

because olp.cc said that it would be like Foo Fighters- My Hero, which is a first person video
I watched that video last night and dreamed that I was staying at a hotel or something, and there was a fire, lol.
The video's pretty sweet, so if Innocent is going to be shot like that, awesome.
