thing for today, our towel laundry service at work was changed and so now instead of bundling them in cellophane they tie them with string. we now have a humungous ball of string on the guard table and i've made two necklaces in the last two days...cuz i have that much down time (don't you hate me?

also there were these two little girls in the pool today (about 7) and they were talking about their mommies...well just call them kid A (

) and kid B

A: my mommy is prettier than your mommy
B: yeah but your mommy is younger, mine is 42
A: my mom is 25
B:

how can your mommy be 25?
A: cuz she had me when she was 18

Today's thing:

I'm trying to let my hair grow out.

It used to be like this (bad picture):

I'm aiming for one of two things (I'm going to let it grow more, and play around to decide what I like).

I originally wanted something spikey like this:

-Mike Turner, The Birdman

But my dad gave me these really old, expensive hair trainer brushes from England, and I tried combing it back, and it looks pretty cool, kind of like Raine in the Starseed video, except it's not that long yet:

-Raine Maide, Starseed

I'm thinking that I like the combed back look, and that at least gives me something to aim for, for now. Also, it's quick, easy, and a few squirts of my dad's hairspray holds it back fairly well.

I'm going to get my hair cut on Thrusday (Tomorrow. wow, this week has gone by so fast!), so I'll get some ideas then.

Damnit, now I've got a song stuck in my head...

Gimme a head with hair (hair!). Long beautiful hair (hair!). Shinning, gleaming. Lots of flocks and locks of beautiful HAAAAAIR!

I have no idea if those are the right lyrics, but it sounds like that when it's revolving around and around and around and around in my head...

I'm way behind on my summer reading for English, like 2 books, 1 poem, 1 essay, and about 30 pages of journal entries behind. eek.

I'm gettting my hair cut next week. And i'm getting it dyed back to my natural color. I am not even too sure what color my hair is now. First it was dark brown, then i got blond highlights, then i tried to go totally blond, then i went all red. And now, i think the blond and red kinda fused together and it is a kinda orangy color. Everyone tells me it looks red, but i'm convinced its orange.

I should be getting my hair cut next week, since I'm leaving next week and won't be home until the Dashboard Confessional concert...unless I can find somebody to take me back to Ann Arbor (I told my mom that we're going to pretend that I live out of state, she wasn't too pleased with that

)

Anyway, I'm probably going to cut it about 2 or 3 inches shorter, and get the fuschia part redyed fuchsia, and then get a 2 inch wide strip dyed bright red next to the fuchsia part of my hair. It's going to rock

wow, i've never seen a guy so concered about his hair. i just got all my chopped off. it was way long but i cut it cut to my chin so now i look, different, but it's only hair and i don't really care what people think of me so there

hmm..it's still early in the day but lemmie think of a thing for the day anyways, and then maybe i'll come up with a better one later. ummm....my mom is delivering me lunch...and it should be damn good too. i'm very excited over the prospect of gormet chicken fingers...mmmm...

I got myself two pairs of the same black specs today. The rims are thinner than Jer's. The arms have a part where they turn into a little ball, and then continue on...
