Boss, you would willing or interested in making another dvd for me? I got a dvd off of ebay, buts it encoded for PAL users and needless to say, I can't view it on my tv. Could you would you help me? :happytears: :al:

I can give it a stab. I've never converted PAL DVD to NTSC DVD before. I've done VHS that way, but not DVD. Let me read up on it first, and then I'll let you know.

You should be able to rip the DVD to an MPG then re-encode it into NTSC.

I don't know how much quality would be loss though if that's a concern.

I just have S-Video straight out of my Video Card into the back of my TV so I havn't ripped anything to DVD in some time.

TPMGE is an old standy to convert the file.

I don't know what the latest, greatest ripping tool is out there.

Quality loss is my big concern. The process is simple, however.

Johnny you could also send it to me. I have a program that will convert the main video of it as pretty much an exact quality copy, however, i'd have to remake the menus and extra content if there is any. I've converted from PAL to NTSC many times.

I'd recommend you do that Johnny. Lando can preserve the quality, plus it will save you on shipping.
