A giant thorn in the collective ass of the CM. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, someone I still believe is a good guy deep down, but too unstable to stay here. Gifted ability to pick music apart, and the biggest promoter of indie bands I know.

When it comes down to it, Alan was the most controversial of the CMers.

Great taste in music, just didn't like anyone elses. And if you didn't like his, he would let you know he felt

He made the CM a very interesting place to be.

Too bad he couldn't keep some comments to himself.

I liked it when he posted pictures of himself in a pink shirt. And pink shirts are hot. So then he got mad at people for calling him hot. That was funny.

I miss him too.

Despite the odd lashing, he made a ton of interesting and worthwhile posts. His music thread was awesome.

Ah my dear Alan .. We've had quite a few famous fights, one resulting in him getting banned. He's pissed on every band I've ever mentioned and he's harsh enough to make me cry but I would still like to meet him one day. He has a split personality .. sometimes he's nice to me, most times he hates me .. but I think he should come back too.

Alan was just passionate about music. He takes music very seriously and sometimes he crosses the line. I'm sure he's a good guy and I think we would get along quite well.
